MICA TESTERS — START WITH A FEW DROPS
Mica testers work a little differently than our silica and borosilicate testers. Color shifting Mica is more heavily pigmented, so you do not need to pour the entire tester into your plastisol at once. Your small tester should make 2 cups or more based on your desired density.
Start with just a few drops. Mix thoroughly and check your color. Want it stronger? Add a few more drops, mix again, and keep building until you reach the color and density you want.
Mica is one of the most economical colorants available to bait makers, and a little can go a long way. Each tester contains at least enough material for one cup of plastisol—and potentially more, depending on the color strength you're trying to achieve.
DROP • MIX • CHECK • REPEAT
YOUR TESTER IS EXACTLY THE SAME MIX AND FORMULA AS STANDARD BOTTLES. JUST TESTER SIZE !
Don't use the bottle volume as your measuring stick. Use your finished color.
